How to Make Chicken Omelette?

It’s not easy to find a dish that everyone can agree on, but omelette is definitely up there in the top 5. It’s quick and simple to make, so you can have it at any time of day or night.


You will need:

– four eggs

– 1 tablespoon of oil

– salt and pepper

– 2 tablespoons of chopped onion (more or less, depending on how much you like onion, but never add too much!)

– 50 g of chopped ham (you could always use bacon instead)

– half a pepper (red)

– two sticks of spring onion

– fifty grams of cooked chicken breast, chopped into small pieces

Whisk the eggs until they are nice and fluffy, then add them into a frying pan along with the oil. Spread out your onions evenly around the pan and crumble in your ham. Add some salt and pepper to taste and turn down the heat to medium/low – you don’t want it to get crispy! What we’re looking for here is a lovely thick omelette which goes really golden brown at the bottom. Make sure it’s cooked right through! By this point yo uushould have a lovely base to your omelette. It’s now time to build the topping by adding the cooked pepper and spring onion, together with the chicken pieces. Put a lid on it for 1 minute so that everything gets heated through. Once you’re happy, slide it out onto a plate and serve!

During this time, cut your pepper into small squares and finely chop your spring onion. Sheap these onto the omelette together with the chicken before folding them in half. When it’s all cooked through, slide it out of the pan onto a plate to serve.

In total this will take around 15 minutes from start to finish, which means you can have dinner ready in time for 10pm if you want! This meal will give you a good amount of protein thanks to the eggs, chicken and ham which makes it great as part of a healthy diet plan – plus there is very little chance of going wrong because its so simple!
